Finnvera’s authorisation to grant counter-cyclical financing to expire at the end of the year

By the Government’s decision, Finnvera has been able to grant counter-cyclical financing to companies until 31 December 2012. After that date, Finnvera can offer financing for corresponding needs using other products. Although no new arrangements for counter-cyclical financing can be made, the terms of the existing Counter-cyclical Loans or Guarantees will remain unchanged.

In 2011, Finnvera granted a total of EUR 175 million for counter-cyclical financing. By the beginning of December this year, the corresponding figure was EUR 111 million.
