Finnvera’s online service for banks and financial institutions is getting an update
Finnvera is updating its online service in May 2024. By the current plan, the new online service for banks and financial institutions will become available on Wednesday 22 May 2024.
With the update, the service user interface and design will move to a new service platform, developed based on the feedback of our financing partners. All the familiar functions of the old online service will be included in the new platform. The update will not affect logging in to the service, and financing providers will be able use to use their old IDs to log in to the new service.
Good to know about the update
- Submitting guarantee and change applications and sending messages will be moved to the new service when it is launched.
- You should fill in and submit any unfinished applications no later than 21 May in the old service because they will not be transferred to the updated service.
- Applications submitted before the launch of the new service and any related decisions and documents will be available in the old online service. They will not be transferred to the new service.
- The old online service for providers of financing will be discontinued in September 2024. Please note that you will not be able to log in to the old online service after that time. Any documents that the providers of financing want to save for themselves will also have to be saved before the end of the transition period. The message history of the old service will also not be transferred to the updated service.
- Applications for Letter of Credit Guarantees and related message exchanges will stay in the old online service for now. We estimate that they will be transferred to the updated service in early 2025.
Finnvera is reforming its online services gradually in 2023–2025
The update is part of a wider overall reform of our online services where we are gradually transferring our services to a new service platform in 2023–2025. Finnvera has already previously updated its online services for corporate and private customers. Online services for exporters will also be transferred to the updated service near the end of May 2024.
