MEE: Finnvera’s export financing got a good grade in an international assessment

The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment (MEE) has assigned an assessment of the operation, impact and risks of the officially supported export financing system and state guarantee granted for the fund acquisition of export credits. The assessment was carried out by an external and independent international research group with a thorough experience on export financing. Due to the Finnish economic structure our export is strongly focused on a few industries which emphasises the signifigance of Finnvera’s risk management system. In addition, single export transactions can be very large, for example cruise ship orders.
